It was our first family holiday with our 2 young daughters tied in with a wedding in Salo so we were looking for something family friendly, central and self contained...this apartment fulfilled everything and more. Situated next door to a fabulous butchers, veg shop and a stones throw from the lake and centre of town this apartment was brilliant. If the weather had been better we would have made use of the pool!!! We also want to compliment the staff at Lemon Tree Rentals who gave us some good advice of places to go and were so quick to respond to any queries we had within an hour or so! We rented a car and parked for free in the supermarket situated behind the apartments which was so convenient so were able to visit some of the places recommend to us by the team. We will definitely be returning to Italy and will be looking at Lemon Tree Rentals first and if we were to visit Salo again would go back to the set of apartments! A beautiful, very clean apartment in an ideal location. Plenty of room and has a kitchen that is well equipped if you like to cook. Right next door to the macelleria (butchershop). Absolutely anything you might need is here in this apartment. The balcony which overlooks Lake Garda is great for having breakfast or dinner and enjoying the view of the lake. It is close to everything in Salo and a short walk to the promenade. Would definitely stay here again. Paola was a great host and most accommodating when we had questions or needed help.

Absolutely fantastic location with easy access to Lake, shops, reserved parking and local market (Saturdays). Everything organised prior to arrival no hassle. Paolo, one of the owners was charming and alway ready to help. Apartment size was great, with great sized balcony with a stunning view. The whole lake was beautiful. we would highly recommend hiring a boat for the day, what away to experience the Lake. A trip up into the surrounding hills is also recommended. We were there in June and it was hot but with plenty access to the Lake from the beaches cooling down is not a problem. Italian hospitality is great, and the ice-cream is Devine!! We would highly recommend Lemon Tree Rentals and Lake Garda, we will be back.

We stayed here for three weeks during September and October. Perfect location, one road back from the promenade, with views of the lake. Secure parking nearby which was arranged in advance. Very comfortable and attractive apartment, well designed with a large private balcony which caught the morning and early afternoon sun. The proprietor, Paulo, owns the adjacent butcher's shop. Would also recommend this as he prepares a variety of homemade dishes, lasagne, bolognaise, vegetable dishes etc which were lovely. The apartment is a couple of minutes walk from the lake. It is on a one way street so has to be approached from the right hand end of Via Pietro (as you look at the sea). This fooled us to start with and we had a couple of drives through Salo before we worked it out!

Although on the third floor there is a lift so access is easy. Beautiful view from the balcony of the lake, which is a stones throw from the apartment. Within a 10 minute walk along a very nice boardwalk you are in Salo, amongst all the bars and restaurants. Regular ferries stop at Salo making visits to other lakeside resorts easy. The apartment is well equipped and comfortable, with air conditioning and WiFi available.

The apartment was small but perfect for 2 people, secure with good access and even a lift for those who would need it (or even just to send your shopping up to your apartment without dragging it up the stairs), powerful shower (cubicle small), well fitted kitchen, comfortable sofa, lovely balcony with views to the lake, few seconds walk between building opposite and you are on the lake, fab. A couple of downsides, the bed is big but very hard, woke everyday with aching back and hips, also during our stay there was building work going on directly opposite which was noisy at times and an average of 6 workmen there through the day, although they themselves were not noisy at all, we had no warning of this and since our holiday have made several attempts to contact the owner who initially said he wasnt aware of the works and would look into it and get back to us, we havnt heard back which is very dissappointing, it did impact on our holiday quite a lot, but without the building work going on we would definately recommend this apartment.
