Overview

Villa Girasole is a newly built, wonderful luxury villa nestled in the hills above Lake Garda near Brenzone. Thanks to its exclusive location, there are no neighbours in site and the views of Lake Garda are some of the very best around. It's set in a wonderfully maintained 21-acre private estate. Peace and tranquility are guaranteed here and there are few better places to enjoy a morning coffee or evening aperitivo.

The villa is close to San Zeno in Montagna, high above the lake and the wonderful village of Castelletto di Brenzone is just a 15 minute walk from the villa (good shoes recommended!). The village offers a selection of excellent restaurants and you’ll be sure to find some excellent wine that's produced just down the road!

This beautiful villa sleeps up to 12 guests over 6 bedroom suites, each uniquely furnished and most with wonderful lake views! The lower floor has two double bedrooms both with ensuite bathrooms with shower and bath tub. One of these rooms can be converted to a twin room and there is another double and twin room on the upper floor and which share a family bathroom. The fish and sixth bedrooms can be found on the ground floor and are both double en-suite rooms. The villa also has a guest bathroom with toilet and sink.

Built facing the lake, the heart of Villa Girasole is the wonderful living space complete with kitchen and dining area. This bright space is a fantastic area, perfect to relax after a day exploring. Visit in the autumn and cozy up around the crackling open fire - maybe with a glass of local red?

The modern country-style kitchen has a beautiful centre-island and comes fully equipped with everything you need to whip up some local dishes, including oven and dishwasher.

The dining table inside is handmade from nut wood and there’s an outside dining area too, perfect for a spot of al-fresco dining! There’s a barbecue too, great for some summer grilling.

The villa gardens take full advantage of the beautiful scenery and wonderful views of Lake Garda. Spanning several acres, the garden is filled with exotic plants such as banana and grapefruit trees and there are explosions of colour dotted everywhere. Wander amongst the ancient olive trees that still produce a wonderful extra virgin olive oil - visit in November and you can even take part in the olive harvest that produces this fantastic olive oil…certainly worth a taste!

The garden is also home to a fantastic natural swimming pool. Sun loungers dotted around make this an ideal spot to spend a day under the sun. And if you simply fancy relaxing after a day exploring, head to the gorgeous Finnish sauna! One of our favourite features has to be the heated outdoor hot tub - top tip! Grab a glass of prosecco and take a dip while watching the sun go down over the lake.

The villa is climate controlled with a natural ventilation system throughout - keeping the villa warm in autumn and cool in the summer. There’s free WIFI too.

The villa owners live around 200 metres from Villa Girasole and are always available for any information or requests.

Please note - the garden has many unfenced walls and drops and may not be suitable for small children. Children should always be supervised in the garden area.

* Almost all the materials for the furniture has been sourced locally

* The villa is built out of wood sourced from South Tyrol

* The villa has a natural swimming pool and no chemicals are used to treat the water. The water is cleaned by special plants in the water and is really kind even to the skin!

* There are bee hives at the property (at a distance from the villa) and the villa owners produce their own honey. There is also a chicken house in the villa grounds.

* Water at the villa is sourced from its own deep well. It's fresh mountain spring water, is tested regularly and is the very best drinking quality. The villa owners encourage guests to drink the tap water, rather than buying water and also provide a soda stream for you to make your own sparkling water - another way to reduce plastic bottle usage.

Also, The views are unbeatable, the house was gorgeous inside and out, and there was plenty to keep you busy without having to go down to town, including: the sauna, the Jacuzzi, the hammocks for a nap the natural pool the ping-pong table and the list goes on...
Last but not least the hosts were very on top of everything to ensure we had a fantastic stay, and pampered us from day one. Will definitely return.
