Sitting on the shore and overlooking the fabulous Lake Garda, Penthouse Miralago is a wonderful holiday apartment settled just on the edge of Desenzano del Garda and is a perfect retreat for families and couples travelling together.

A modern and bright apartment with superb lake views, Miralago is a wonderful home for those looking to stay close to this popular lakeside town. Sitting just on the edge of Desenzano, this penthouse apartment overlooks the water and when the sun dips down over the mountains, take a stroll into town and enjoy the nearby restaurants, bars and ice cream shops.

With floor-to-ceiling windows throughout the home, Miralago has been designed around a modern, open space concept and flooding the rooms with light, the French doors open straight out onto the terrace and far-reaching views over the water. The terrace is partially covered and whether it’s long lazy lunches or dinners with a view, it really does offer the best seat in the house.

For those long, hot summer days, there’s a pool in the residence or even head to the beach along from town and take a dip in the cool lake waters. The apartment is air-conditioned and perfect if you want to escape the midday sun and when you’re all explored-out, retreat to the terrace lounge, digestif in hand and enjoy the summer firework displays the lake is so well-known for.

Miralago is spread over one level and the heart of the home is the open-plan living space with a lounge, dining area and well-equipped kitchen. When the sun sets and the lake quietens, retire to one of three double bedrooms, each one with a beautifully designed en-suite bathroom. And for the night owl, each room opens out on to the terrace.

Three double ensuite bedrooms with two rooms equipped with a single sofa bed. With three ensuite bathrooms, the apartment also has a fourth guest bathroom.

Kitchen
The kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, hob, fridge and dishwasher. There’s a coffee machine too.

Good to Know
Miralago is located within a residence and is on the third and top floor. There is a lift.

The residence has a swimming pool, solarium area and garden but please note this is shared with other guests. The pool is usually open between the beginning of April and the end of October.

There is direct access to the lakeside promenade at the front of the residence, offering an easy walk along the lake and into town.

The apartment is air-conditioned and has free WIFI and there is a washing machine available in the basement of the building.

Guests also have a private parking space within the residence.

Throughout your stay, the reception staff are on hand as much or as little as you need them to be with suggestions for things to do and help if you need it and as the local experts, they can help with recommendations for the area’s best places, experiences and restaurants.

Location

Located on the south coast of Lake Garda, Miralago is in the bustling lakeside town of Desenzano del Garda, close to the well-known town of Sirmione and is ideal if you want to be free of a vehicle.

With the lake and beaches on the doorstep, Desenzano has a great selection of good quality restaurants, bars and cafes as well as all the necessary shops for stocking up. Throughout the year, the town is host to a local street market and in the summer, there are events and concerts for a wonderful live-like-a-local evening out.

The port is nearby and with ferries running throughout the day, they make for an exciting alternative way to explore Lake Garda. The train station is around 15 minutes walk away and if the fabulous city of Verona is on your wish list, it’s just 20 minutes by train. Milan and Venice are just 90 minutes away.

A vehicle is not essential for stays here at Miralago but if you do travel by car, there is private parking available. Travel times from the airports are good with Verona around 30 minutes away and Milan Bergamo just under an hour.
