San Felice del Benaco is located on the western side of Lake garda with the Gulf of Salo to the north, and the Gulf of Manerba to the south. Nestled away in the Italian countryside the area of San Felice del Benaco consists of three quiant villages, San Felice, Portese and Cisano, surrounded by small winding lanes, olive groves, vineyards and the impressive ruins of a 14th century castle.
San Felice is a small village with a number of shops, restaurants and facilities, it gives a real opportunity to experience Italian life! There are cycling, hiking, horseriding and golf courses all located near by. You can catch the ferry to various places around the Lake from the Port at Portese, a small village with a quaint marina and small number of restaurants. The town of Salo is just a 10 minute drive away, with supermarkets, shops, ferry port, restaurants and bars, as well as its fantastic weekly market held every Saturday morning. The small hamlet of Cisano is a small yet very picturesque rural village which has recently been gracefully restored.
The spectacular and biggest Island in Lake Garda, Isola del Garda, lies by the coast between San Felice and Salo and is a must see with its magnificent palace and is open for tours and events.
