San Felice del Benaco
The pretty, romantic village is located in the hills of the Valtenesi about 2km above the Lake. San Felice is covered in small lanes, green areas and gardens and together with the impressive ruins of the 14th century castle, this village offers plenty of idyllic spots.
The beaches in this pretty area are popular with visitors and Italians alike and offer wonderful views over the lake and the nearby Rocca di Manerba dominates the surrounding countryside.
The wooded Isola del Garda, the biggest island in the Lake, lies off the coast between San Felice and Salò with it's magnificent palace and open for tours and events.
Ferries from the port in nearby Portese carry visitors all over Lake Garda.
