Gardone Riviera

Gardone Riveria was Winston Churchill's favourite Lake Garda resort and is situated half way up the West shoreline, opposite Bardolino. It is a small resort town but with some very interesting botanical gardens and many other attractions to explore. The town's elegant and cultured appeal attracts many visitors year after year and it's famous boardwalk is perfect for lakeside strolls or simply watching the world go by.

Gardone Riviera is a good base for the West side of the Lake and ferries leave from the port, taking visitors to all the major towns on Lake Garda.
